Apple HDTVs?

Apple are now one of the biggest companies in the world and have a strong foothold when it comes to computers, notebooks, phones, tablets, and more. However, could TVs be the next step as they look to take on Google TV with their very own Apple HDTVs?

According to reports, many believe that Apple are extremely close to releasing their own TV which will be equipped with computing technology. Although there were suggestions that Apple would be effectively ‘borrowing’ parts from LG, Sharp, and Toshiba, it seems as though these new TVs could actually be 100% Apple using components we have seen in their other range of products. In the future, we could see up to 50” screens for Apple HDTVs.

Apple has very much distanced themselves from these rumours suggesting that their delve into Television is simply a ‘hobby’ but others suggest otherwise. Some believe that they are in the advanced stages of developing a fully-fledged TV that could compete with the biggest brands in the market. As well as functioning as a regular TV, the device could boast Safari web browser and even access to the App Store.

With success in nearly everything else they have done through the years, it isn’t a long stretch to suggest that this TV would do well. With millions of people owning Apple phones and tablets, having them connected to the TV is just the next step surely? With an Apple TV, they can all run as one system.
